How we use localStorage on Lockeroo
Lockeroo uses localStorage (local storage) to save your preferences directly in your browser. We do NOT use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
What is localStorage?
localStorage is a browser feature that stores data locally on your device. Unlike cookies, this data is not sent to our servers. Everything stays on your device.
What do we store?
We only store two things in your browser:
Language choice
We store your selected language (Danish, English, or German) so the website displays in your preferred language next time you visit. Key: 'language'
Cookie consent
We store your cookie consent choice (accepted or declined) so we don't ask you again. Key: 'cookie-consent'
No tracking
We do NOT use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other tracking tools. We do not collect data about your use of the website.
Manage your data
If you decline cookies, all localStorage is automatically cleared, and we only store your decline choice. Your language preference will not be saved between visits. If you accept cookies, your language choice is saved so the website remembers your preference.
